On the 29th of June, DANS-KNAW organised "Shaping the World of 3D", an in-person-only workshop, in the context of the 4CH-project, in which both DANS and CARARE participate.

This special webinar on 3D Content for Local Time Machine Organisations co-organised by TMO, CARARE and Europeana on the 14th of June, provided information, hands-on instructions and support in real time on how to deliver 3D content to Europeana.

The European Commission and the Europeana Initiative have launched ‘Twin it! 3D for Europe’s culture’.

One of the first activities for CARARE in the 5DCulture project was a visit by Henk Alkemade to the University Research Institute for Iberian Archaeology (University of Jaén).

TECH4Heritage is a project that aims to train local Cultural Heritage staff in Iraq to create and share 3D models of archaeological sites and objects. The project is financed by the EU, under the Creative Europe Programme and runs from January 2023 to fall 2024.
