What data do we collect?

CARARE collects the following data:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, etc.)
  • CARARE Members, names and email
  • Name and email for the CARARE Update (newsletter)
  • Name and email for Events

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide CARARE with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Become a CARARE member or supporter
  • Register for the CARARE Update (newsletter) on Mailchimp
  • Signup on Eventbrite for a forthcoming Event
  • We may make recordings of Zoom meeting and Webinars, but participants will be notified prior to any recording.
  • Voluntarily complete a survey or provide feedback via email one of our email campaigns.
  • Use or view our website via your browser's cookies.

How will we use your data?

CARARE collects your data so that we can:

  • Send out monthly newsletters (CARARE Update)
  • Arrange participation in upcoming Events both on and offline
  • Carry out targeted research using surveys
  • Improve out website to targeted audiences when applicable

How do we store your data?

We store data in systems that have proven, trusted security protocols and have privacy policies in compliance with GDPR.

Communication by e-mail

If you choose to correspond with us through email or our automated response forms on the website, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses. We provide the same protections for these electronic communications that we employ in the maintenance of information received by mail and telephone.

If you chose to send us information, it will be used for the purpose described or to answer your query/comment. We will pass your details onto another agency only if required to by law or that agency is relevant to your enquiry. We do not collect your information for commercial purposes.

CARARE Update (newsletter)

CARARE would like to send you information about the latest topical news and events that we think you might like, which may include contributions from our member organizations. We use Mailchimp for sending out all of our monthly newsletters and periodic information relating to upcoming events If you have agreed to receive our monthly newsletter, you may always opt out at a later date.

You have the right at any time to stop CARARE from contacting you with its CARARE Update newsletter campaign. If you no longer wish to receive the CARARE Update, please unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of the latest CARARE Update email. This will remove your information from any list stored on Mailchimp.

CARARE Surveys

Should you participate in any of our Survey's we will keep your information until the analysis of the survey is completed, after which it will be deleted. We will anonymise your data and only use, analyse and report on anonymised data. Where a respondent voluntarily provides personal information, this data will be used only for the purposes of this initiative.

CARARE online contact form

Any personal details received using the CARARE online contact form will be deleted upon satisfactory completion of the enquiry, unless otherwise agreed.
