This event will mark the launch of the “DTI-Initiative” (Digitise. Transform. Inspire.), a collaborative initiative aimed at overcoming persistent barriers to digitisation and fostering international cooperation.

A particular highlight will be the keynote address by Frédéric Kaplan, President of the Time Machine Organisation (TMO). His talk will explore how shared digital infrastructure and large-scale cooperation can help shape the future of historical knowledge in Europe. The TMO is proud to support the DTI initiative and actively contribute to the event promoting the shared vision behind it.

The two-day programme will include:

• Presentations and panels from international experts: Birgit Kibal, ICARUS (EU); Stephen Valentine, Familysearch (US); Harry Verwayen, Europeana (EU); Kerstin Arnold, Archives Portal Europe (EU); Frédéric Kaplan, Time Machine Organisation (EU)
• Hands-on workshops and live demonstrations
• The launch of "DTI – Digitise. Transform. Inspire!", a new initiative to tackle key challenges in digitisation and access.
