13th International Conference of Archaeological Prospection

The School of Science, the Institute of Technology Sligo and the International Society for Archaeological Prospection invite you to join us for the 13th International Conference of Archaeological Prospection. The Institute of Technology Sligo will host the conference in our brand new Aurivo Auditorium.

ICAP 2019 will provide, as always, a forum for discussing the latest developments in our field. Our Conference will be hosted by the Applied Archaeology unit in the Centre for Environmental Research, Innovation and Sustainability (CERIS), the Dept. of Environmental Sciences, at the School of Science in the Institute of Technology Sligo. The CERIS research cluster is an innovative and expert team of researchers, academic staff and students providing key solutions in Applied Archaeology, Applied Ecology and Resource Management.

Nestled between the majestic Benbulben mountain to the north, ancient tombs on Knocknarea mountain and the Atlantic Ocean to the west, beautiful Lough Gill to the east, and the rugged Ox Mountains to the south, Sligo is one of the most picturesque places in all of Ireland.
