Urban augmented reality application launched by Netherlands Architecture Institute

The Netherlands Architecture Institute has today launched UAR which it describes as the world’s first mobile architecture application featuring augmented reality with 3D models. UAR can be downloaded from Android Market and the Apple App Store from 30 June 2010. The NAI has set itself the challenge of making the Netherlands the first country in the world to have its entire architecture viewable on smartphones thanks to augmented reality.
